How It Works

Sealcoating
Line Marking
Why Sealcoating Works – The Technical Side
Sealcoating is a specialized protective barrier made exclusively for asphalt pavement.
Asphalt is held together by the asphalt binder – a tough, waterproof “glue.” Over time, UV rays, gasoline, oil, salt, and water attack and break down that binder, turning pavement gray, brittle, and cracked.
Our professional sealcoating is bitumen/rubber-based (refined tar + polymer rubber) – not cheaper acrylic or latex. It penetrates, then cures into a flexible shield that:
-
Fills hairline cracks and blocks water
-
Stops UV damage and oxidation
-
Repels oil, gas, and chemicals
-
Keeps the pavement flexible and black
Properly applied sealcoating can more than triple the life of your asphalt while costing less than one-third of full replacement.
One simple maintenance step every 2–4 years saves you thousands in repairs or repaving.
Ready to protect your pavement the right way?
Why Our Striping Lasts
Professional striping isn’t just lines—it’s traffic control, safety, and curb appeal that survives Alberta winters.
Here’s what sets us apart:
-
Solvent-based traffic paint (not acrylic) – bonds deep, won’t peel under plows, with glass beads for night/wet visibility.
-
Hot-applied thermoplastic for stop bars, crosswalks, and high-wear spots – lasts 5–8 years through trucks and salt.
-
Custom layouts for real flow – handles entrances, snow areas, pedestrians, and fire lanes.
-
Fully compliant with Alberta Transportation and AODA rules – no fines or issues.
We use Graco LineLazer machines for fast, clean installs with zero disruption.
Cheap paint fades fast and costs more long-term. Ours stays sharp, keeps people safe, and boosts your pro image for years.

Patching
Potholes, alligator cracking, sunken spots, and failed ramps all start the same way:
-
Water sneaks into tiny cracks
-
It freezes → expands → breaks the asphalt apart
-
Traffic knocks out the loose pieces → the hole grows fast
Alberta’s freeze-thaw cycles make it worse every winter, turning small issues into tire-killers in weeks.
Most companies throw in cold patch and call it a day. It usually pops out by spring.
We fix it permanently with the right method every time:
-
Infrared seamless repair using our KM 8000 TDD – heats and recycles your existing asphalt, blends in fresh hot-mix, no cold seams, looks and performs like new pavement
-
Full saw-cut & remove & replace with hot-mix straight from our KM 8000 TDD Hotbox – perfect temperature, perfect compaction, zero settling
-
Gator Guard trowel-on patch for quick, rock-solid emergency fixes that still last years
Because we run a KM 8000 TDD Hotbox-Reclaimer, we can deliver true hot-mix repairs 365 days a year — even in January.
One proper repair now saves you from overlays or full replacement later.
Don’t wait for the next big hole.

Crack Sealing
How We Fix Cracks & Damaged Areas Right
Not all asphalt damage is equal—we match the fix to the problem.
For cracks & joints:
-
Clean with compressed air + wire wheels
-
Fill with direct-fire hot-pour rubberized sealant (190–210 °C) – flows deep, bonds forever, flexible, traffic-ready in ~20 min
For alligatoring, potholes, or sunken spots:
-
Infrared repair – heat to 160 °C, rake in hot-mix, blend seamlessly
-
Heavy damage? Trowel-on Gator Guard – fibre-reinforced, rubberized cold-patch that cures hard & flexible
No cold-pour junk that fails fast. Right tool for the job = pavement that lasts.
Save thousands in repairs now.
